"This cookbook was inspired by Board Member Joanie Blatz, and has been three years in the making. We are delighted to give our members the opportunity to share their favorite recipes, while also raising money for a great cause-there's something for everyone in the cookbook," said Lucy Mathers, shelter manager. In addition to the great recipes, photos of shelter alumni, and other furry friends are featured through out the book. The Whisker Lickin' Good cookbook is available at the Fond du Lac Humane Society and sells for $12 each or 2 for $20.

The Fond du Lac Humane Society cared for more than 2000 stray or abandoned animals in 2005. 100% of proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will benefit the animals staying at the shelter.
